How the Program Works
Step 1: Apply online and receive your acceptance decision
Step 2: Reserve your seat and select your payment option
Step 3: Attend live classes and complete online modules
Step 4: Complete 20 supervised clinical hours
Step 5: Complete your final exam and receive your certificate
Program Schedule & Format
Live classes held 3 times per week (1–2 hours per session)
- Online modules completed on your own schedule
- Program duration: approximately 6–8 weeks
- All live sessions are recorded for flexibility
Clinical Training Requirement
Students are required to complete 20 supervised clinical hours at an approved sleep lab.
You may:
- Complete clinical hours locally at an approved facility
- Or complete clinical training at our Columbus, GA location
Some clinical sites may require additional onboarding such as CPR certification or individual liability insurance.

NIHT does not guarantee job placement or clinical site placement. Students are responsible for securing a clinical site if completing hours locally.
